Our grow lights are tailored to provide light matching the needs of growing plants.  Unlike florescent or high pressure sodium lamps, these lights almost exactly match the plants needs.  Spacing these bars to cover 6 to 8 square feet provides nearly the same useful light intensity as sunlight in the critical red and blue wavelengths.  This can be seen in the graph showing the absorption bands of chlorophyll compared to the light emitted by the LGM5 system.  

We can provide low voltage systems combining solar cells, LED lighting, electronic controllers and storage battery systems for our greenhouse and solarium products. 

The figure below shows the close match between the LGM5 and Chlorophyll light absorption.  This is in stark contrast with a high pressure sodium light which appears bright visually, but is poor in wavelengths that plants need.  Data from hortsci.com.
